We provide the Yorktown Heights & Westchester County community with a high quality, diverse inventory of flowers, plants, trees and shrubs that are always priced right.

Our unwavering passion for growing and caring for our plants is what brings us to work every day, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Why shop with us?

We know the big box stores can be enticing to shop. When you visit the garden center of a big box store, you can get assistance from 16 year old John. John is an expert in plants (he was also an expert in Benjamin Moore paint the day before, and insulation material the day before that) but at least you’ll maybe* save a buck or two.

However, shopping at Blossom Nurseries in Yorktown Heights means shopping small, and supporting local. Maybe that’s not your thing, but what about this: we grow our own annuals in our two large greenhouses. Our owner Rudy swears that because he plays music for them 24/7, they’re much happier and healthier annuals. Our flowers are raised with tender love and care - which is why they’ll thrive once you take them home.

Another reason you’ll want to shop a local nursery like Blossom is because the trees, shrubs and plants that we sell are all from LOCAL upstate suppliers. Which means these babies are born and raised in our climate. This is SO important because they will thrive once you take them home. Have you ever purchased from the big box stores and once you get the plant home it doesn’t seem to thrive? That’s because they will often import from different climates, which is why they are able to cut so many costs. The more you know!
